It seems that Sony PS3 fans will have to wait until 2009 for their killer app, Killzone 2.

Killzone 2 was revealed at E3 along with the debut of the Sony PS3.

It has been deemed as the true next-gen killer app, one that would destroy the likes of Gears of War, Halo, and others.

The only problem is, it won't be coming this year as expected.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe confirmed at PlayStation Day that Killzone 2 will not release until February 2009.

This means that those hoping for Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 this holiday season will be a bit disappointed.
