I found a website (http://www.tenniswood.co.uk/technology/windows/adding-bda-support-into-windows-server-2012/) somebody already provided the BDA files for Server 2012. And if like me you run a Domain there are actual disadvantages as the latest version create roaming user profiles that are completely incompatible (known issue).

The log files showed Errors with bda.dev.So I installed the missing BDA files as described in Tenniswood blog http://www.tenniswood.co.uk/technology/page/10/ for Server 2012 Essentials.The result was that my server crashed. While Bit and Language are easy to understand here are the kernel matchings (Vista=server2008; win7=server2008r2, win8=server2012) also make sure both systems also have the same patchlevel, at lease the major patches Oh, that is so disappointing.
